Recommendation Requests

If you are asking for a recommendation please send me the following information to this email address: teacher@yeomansecon.com

Also please TELL ME you are sending this request so I know to look for it. Please give me at least 2 weeks notice when requesting recommendations.

In addition, a lot of recommendation requests from universities and common app are getting caught up in SPAM folders and don’t always get to me. Please let me know to be on the lookout for an email from a university or common app.

  • NAME
  • Post secondary plans/career goal (include intended major in college)
  • Courses taking this year
  • Special honors/accomplishments (and when you accomplished it)
  • School Activities and years (include any responsibilities or offices held)
  • Outside activities (church, community groups etc.)
  • Employment and years (you can also include a little detail on what you did if you think that helps)
  • Volunteer activities
  • Anything you want me to emphasize

Please be sure to include the name of the school and appropriate address I am sending this to!!!

Also include the date the letter is due.

If this is an offline recommendation (i.e. I need to print it out on letterhead) please let me know.
